Akis Andrianos

Akis Andrianos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Akis is currently working at Galapagos as the Director of Business Development Transactions. Prior to this, they held positions at Centrient Pharmaceuticals as the Marketing & BI Excellence Manager and Global Business Manager Drug Products. Akis also worked at ProQR Therapeutics NV as a Business Development Manager and Business Development Associate. Akis has a background in research as well, having been a Research Intern at the Institute of Biology Leiden (IBL) and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens. Akis also gained experience in project management as a Project Management Intern at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. Additionally, Akis served in the Hellenic Air Force as an Airman during their mandatory military duty.

Akis Andrianos holds a Master's Degree in Biology and Science Based Business from Leiden University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology at the University of Crete from 2007 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Akis has obtained certifications in Advanced Negotiation Skills from the Professional Development - Harvard Division of Continuing Education in December 2022 and LES BENELUX LICENSING COURSE 2018 from the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) in November 2018.
