Sonay Keskin

Sonay Keskin is a highly experienced scientific professional currently serving as a Scientific Associate in Vector Technologies at uniQure since September 2016. Prior to this role, Sonay worked as a Senior Research Technician and Teamleader at Ahold Distributie Centrum, and as an Associate Scientist at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where involvement included the HSV project focused on developing and characterizing vaccine production cell lines. Additional research experience includes internship roles at various esteemed institutions, such as the Tytgat Instituut and Academic Medical Center, exploring topics related to genetic indicators for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the effects of immune responses in severe asthma. Sonay holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and has a strong academic foundation with a prior education in Natural Sciences and Health at Barlaeus.
