Veerle Vyncke

Veerle Vyncke has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Veerle started their career at Pfizer in 1995 as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and then moved to Quintiles in 1996, where they continued to work as a CRA until 1999. Veerle joined Quintiles Rockville MD US in 1999 as a Senior CRA. In 2000, they transitioned to Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Clinical Protocol Manager and stayed with the company until 2003. From 2003 to 2012, they worked at Tibotec / JNJ as a Project Management Leader. In 2013, Veerle started working at Galapagos as a Senior Lead Project Management, a role they held until 2018. From 2018 to 2023, they served as the Medical Communications Lead at Galapagos. Currently, Veerle holds the position of Medical Affairs Director in Gastroenterology at Galapagos, starting in September 2022.

Veerle Vyncke completed their MSc in Environmental Sanitation at Ghent University from 1992 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained their MSc in Biology from the University of Antwerp between 1987 and 1991.
