Jamond J. Foree

Jamond Foree serves as the Education Programs Manager at GLSEN since March 2021, focusing on providing educators and adult allies with essential tools, resources, and training to foster safe and inclusive learning environments for LGBTQ+ students. Prior experience includes roles such as Manager for Community Mobilization at the Center for Out-of-School Advancement, where support was given to Ohio Department of Education grantees, and Senior Manager for Community Strategies at StrivePartnership. Additional experience encompasses positions at the YMCA of the USA as a STEM Technical Advisor and various roles at the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, where initiatives in youth programming and development were implemented. Jamond also worked as a Consultant for Bridges for a Just Community, engaging youth in leadership and social justice discussions, and as Assistant Artistic Director at Future World Productions, where a program was developed to involve at-risk youth in the arts.
