Michael Rady

Rainbow Library Program Manager at GLSEN

Michael Rady currently serves as the Senior Education Programs Manager at GLSEN, a position held since February 2019. In addition to managing the Rainbow Library program, Michael also founded and leads this initiative. Prior experience includes roles as a Field Organizer for Amy McGrath for Senate in 2020, as an Education Policy Fellow in the Office of Senator Cory Booker from 2019 to 2020, and as the Associate Director of Expeditions Curriculum and LGBTQ+ Community Group Leader at Achievement First from 2016 to 2019. Earlier teaching experience includes serving as a Third Grade Teacher and Teach For America Corps Member at KIPP New Jersey from 2013 to 2016. Michael holds a Master of Education degree in Education Policy and Analysis with a concentration in Literacy and Languages from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Portuguese from Columbia University.
