Senior Marketing Manager- Global at Glue Up

Phyllis Mwangi has had an extensive career in marketing, beginning with an internship at Kenya Airways in 2012. In 2013, they were a Business Executive at Ghafla! Kenya, where they were responsible for developing deal strategies and negotiating contracts. In 2015, they were a Digital Sales & Marketing Executive at Standard Group LTD, where they developed marketing programs for business-to-business clients and closed new long-term accounts. From 2016 to 2021, they held two roles at JamboPay: Head Of Marketing and Marketing Manager. In their role as Marketing Manager, they oversaw the communications & marketing annual strategy plan and budget, production and distribution of marketing materials, and production, scripting, and filming of video materials for media and in-house use. Currently, they are a Senior Marketing Analyst- Global and Marketing Manager Africa at Glue Up.

Phyllis Mwangi obtained an IBA in Finance from United States International University - Africa between 2008 and 2012. Phyllis has also obtained several certifications, including Google My Business Basics from Google in April 2020, The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing- Digital Garage Certificate from Google Digital Skills For Africa in March 2020, Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy in September 2021, Email Marketing from HubSpot Academy in September 2021, Inbound from HubSpot Academy in September 2021, Social Media Marketing Certification Course from HubSpot Academy in August 2021, Google Ads Display Certification from Google in July 2021, Google Ads Video Certification from Google in July 2021, and HubSpot Sales Software from HubSpot Academy in January 2021.
