Jason Gmyrek

Jason Gmyrek has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jason currently serves as the Director of Quality Assurance at GlycoMimetics, starting in November 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Pharmaceutical Process Consulting, LLC from January 2008 to November 2018, where they were the Managing Member and provided consulting services for various pharmaceutical companies. Jason also has experience at MGI Pharma as a Development Engineer and Clinical Pharmacy Manager from 2005 to 2007, where they managed clinical supply chain operations and provided consultation for clinical trial design. Before that, they worked as a Development Engineer at Guilford Pharmaceuticals from 2000 to 2005, focusing on pharmaceutical research and development. Jason began their career as an intern at Cambridge Heart in 1999, performing tasks related to medical device manufacturing and providing technical support.

Jason Gmyrek earned their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University between 1996 and 2000. Jason then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Loyola University Maryland, completing the degree between 2001 and 2005.
