Alexis Light Git

Alexis Light, GIT, is a dedicated geologist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from UCLA, achieved in 2021. Currently serving as a Staff Geologist at GMU since October 2022, Alexis previously held a similar position at JL Geologic Consulting from March 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing drilling operations, data management, technical report writing, and field sampling. Additionally, experience as a Creative Coordinator at Syndicatebleu involved matching creative professionals with job opportunities, while a role as a Research Assistant at UCLA's Geomorphology and Landscape Evolution Lab involved data analysis and visualization using GIS software. Alexis also competed as a student-athlete for UCLA Women's Volleyball, developing leadership and teamwork skills, and served as a UCLA Team Representative for Under Armour, providing feedback on sports gear.
