Dwitiya Sawant, Ph.D. has 15 years of research and development experience. Dwitiya began their career in 2006 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Wayne State University. In 2008, they moved to The Ohio State University, where they held the roles of Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2015, they became a Post-Doctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University, and in 2017, they became a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Abigail Wexner Research Institute. In 2021, they joined Gnome Sciences as a Research & Development Scientist and Director of Project Management. In this role, they are passionate about developing custom solutions for research studies and clinical trials utilizing Gnome Sciences' unique suite of technologies.
Dwitiya Sawant, Ph.D. received their Master's degree in Biotechnology from Wayne State University from 2006 to 2008. Dwitiya then attended The Ohio State University from 2008 to 2015, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Genetics. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a Cardiovascular Research Mentor certification from skoolmentor in 2021 and 2022.
