Giri Murali

Giri Murali began their work experience in 2011 as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they focused on computer vision. In 2012, they worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at Smiley Media. Later that year, they joined Aquifi, Inc as a Computer Vision & Machine Learning expert, a role they held until 2019. In 2019, they joined HOVER Inc. as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer. Giri then progressed to the role of Senior Engineering Manager, specializing in 3D Reconstruction, and eventually became the Director of Engineering, focusing on Computer Vision. Currently, Giri is the Head of Computer Vision at RADAR, where they are responsible for building a digital twin of retail spaces and automating inventory and analytics processes.

Giri Murali obtained a Masters in Robotics from the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2012. During their time there, their field of study focused on Computer Vision & AI.
