Nihal Soans

Nihal Soans has held various positions in the technology industry since 2014. Nihal began their career as a Programmer Analyst Trainee at Cognizant, where they were promoted to Programmer Analyst. In 2017, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at ReproTox Biotech LLC, where they developed a deep learning architecture for testis histology image classification. In 2018, they held two positions simultaneously as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. In 2019, they joined SoftWear Automation, Inc. as a Robotics Software Engineer in Vision, where they created code and communication protocol between PLC (Robot) and Vision Server in C++ and trained a deep learning model for detecting fabric side. Nihal is currently a Machine Learning Engineer at RADAR, a position they have held since 2022.

Nihal Soans has an extensive educational background. Nihal completed their Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a BE in Computer Science & Engineering from St. Joseph Engineering College in 2013. Nihal also completed their 12th; Pre-University in Computer Science from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore-575003 in 2009, and their 10th from St Aloysius High School in 2007. Additionally, Nihal has obtained several certifications, including the DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer from Coursera in 2020, the Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning from LinkedIn in 2018, the Deep Learning: Image Recognition from LinkedIn in 2018, the ROS - Robot Operating System from Udemy in 2018, the ITIL® Foundation Certificate from PEOPLECERT in 2015, the AMCAT Certified Business Analyst from Aspiring Minds in 2014, and the AMCAT Certified Software Engineer - Product from Aspiring Minds in 2014.
