Position Overview:

As the Channel Marketing Manager at Teleport, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our partner marketing initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans with our strategic partners, fostering strong relationships within the partner ecosystem to accelerate to-partner and through-partner activities. The Channel Marketing Manager will act as the primary liaison between Teleport and Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Value-Added Distributors (VADs), Managed Service Providers (MSP’s), Systems Integrators (SIs) Cloud Partners (AWS), and referral partners, working closely with internal teams to align marketing strategies with overall business goals and ensure the effectiveness of partner marketing programs. Prior experience with the AWS partner ecosystem is critical to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans with strategic partners that effectively drive awareness of Teleport to partner community
  • Act as the single point of contact for marketing colleagues within the partner ecosystem
  • Work closely with the Alliances, Partnership and Ecosystem team to identify priorities and partner marketing initiatives
  • Set marketing targets and overall marketing performance goals in alignment with the overall GTM/revenue targets for the Alliances, Partnership and Ecosystem team
  • Track and report key metrics on partner marketing programsBuild a global joint marketing plan with AWS focused on activities and win reportingSupport partner events including AWS Re-Inforce and Re-InventWork closely with Teleport colleagues and external partners to build joint value proposition messaging and joint content (battle cards, pitch decks, other sales materials) Build relationships with partner marketing teams to enhance business alignment, product understanding and personal trust

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in channel or partner marketing, preferably in the technology, cybersecurity or SaaS industry
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and partner ecosystems including AWS
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on key metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience supporting large-scale events as well as small scale partner enablement activities
  • Ability to create compelling joint value proposition messaging and marketing content

Reporting Structure:

  • This position will report to the Sr. Director, Demand Generation.
  • No direct reports are expected.
