Michael Morsberger has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of fundraising and philanthropy.

From 2010 to 2014, Michael served as the Vice President of Development at George Washington University, where they led the reorganization of development and alumni operations. During their tenure, total attainment grew from $103 million to $191 million, including the two largest gifts in the university's history.

Prior to their role at George Washington University, Michael held the position of Vice President of Development and Alumni Affairs at Duke Health Development and Alumni Affairs from 2006 to 2010. Michael led a combined development and alumni team, raising over $100 million annually and significantly increasing fundraising despite a global economic recession.

From 2004 to 2006, Michael worked as the Associate Vice President of Development and Executive Director at the University of Virginia Health System. Michael successfully reenergized and reorganized the university's development office and established a newly formed independent philanthropic foundation.

Earlier in their career, Michael held positions at Johns Hopkins Medicine and Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, where they managed fundraising and volunteer programs, introduced planned giving society, pursued major gifts, and contributed to the organizations' growth.

Michael Morsberger's education history includes various programs and degrees attained throughout the years. After that, they pursued further education in fundraising management at Goucher College in 1990. During the same year, they obtained the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-IHQ).

In 1992, Michael participated in the non-profit management program at Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management.
