Liz Roop

Liz Roop has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Liz currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at Brightside starting from May 2023. Before that, they worked at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Senior Manager of Product Management, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager, contributing to the integration of subsidiaries and launching new products. Prior to Lowe's, Liz also worked as a Product Manager at Passport and LendingTree. Additionally, they have experience as a Website and Content Marketing Consultant at Practice Promotions and as a Channel Marketing Manager at Capital One, focusing on web program management and digital acquisitions. Liz began their career as a Marketing Associate at Virginia Tech Services, Inc. and also gained industry exposure as a Digital Strategy Intern at Genworth Financial. Overall, Liz Roop has demonstrated expertise in product management, integration, marketing, and strategy across various organizations.

Liz Roop obtained their Bachelor's of Arts degree in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech in the years 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma in General Studies from Villa Walsh Academy in the years 2004 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, Liz Roop has a Manager Leadership Experience certification from Lowe's University, an AWS Business Professional certification from Amazon Web Services, a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance, and a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance.
