Dan Lyons

Dan Lyons has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being Director of Compliance Operations at GoCardless since November 2020. Before that, they held the role of Head of Compliance Operations from January 2019 to November 2020. Prior to this, they served as Compliance Manager and Deputy MLRO from January 2018 to January 2019 at the same company. From May 2016 to January 2018, they worked as Risk and Compliance Manager / Deputy MLRO, and from October 2014 to May 2016, they served as Support, Risk, and Compliance Operations. Dan started their career at GoCardless as a Support Analyst from October 2013 to October 2014. Before joining GoCardless, Dan worked as a Communications Operator at Lancashire Constabulary from April 2011 to October 2013.

Dan Lyons earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Lancaster University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they obtained a Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention from the International Compliance Association in September 2018 and an Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering from the same institution in August 2016.
