Sam Jones

Sam Jones is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in software development and teaching. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Go City® since January 2022, Sam previously held the role of Software Engineering Manager at Splend, where contributions included establishing the AWS account structure and promoting cross-office collaboration. Prior experiences include significant engineering roles at Asto UK, Argos, and Creative Technologies Limited, with notable achievements in building a scalable distributed system at Argos and securing research funding at the University of Wolverhampton as a Lecturer in Computer Science. Sam's academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Leicester and University of York, respectively.
