Vitaliy Matytsyn

Director Of Network, Cyber And Information Security at GoCo

Vitaliy Matytsyn has extensive work experience in the field of network, cyber, and information security. Vitaliy is currently working as the Director of Network, Cyber and Information Security at GoCo, starting in March 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at bluArc Hosted Business Phone and Internet Services from October 2018 to March 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the evolution, redundancy, and security of the company's IT infrastructure and telecommunication equipment. Vitaliy also worked as the Director of Technology from January 2016 to September 2018, overseeing network and voice architecture, design, management, and monitoring. Before joining bluArc, they served as the Network Manager at the Administration of the National Bank of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk region from September 2011 to December 2015. Vitaliy was also the Chief of WAN department at the same organization from August 2008 to April 2011, where they actively participated in ITIL projects and handled the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network devices. Prior to that, they worked as a Network/System Administrator and Software Engineer.

Vitaliy Matytsyn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Engineer-Physicist from Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas from 1997 to 2002. Vitaliy also completed secondary education at School 21 from 1987 to 1997. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2 in January 2024, as well as the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification from ISC2 in May 2023. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications from VMware and Juniper Networks, including VMware Certified Professional, Juniper Networks Certified Associate, and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert.
