Gaurav Agarwal

Gaurav Agarwal has a strong background in auditing and corporate finance. Gaurav started their career as a Founding Partner at Gaurav Saurabh & Associates in 2004. Gaurav then worked as a Deputy Manager of Internal Audit at Essar from 2007 to 2009, where they conducted internal audits in various operational areas. After that, they joined Godrej Industries Limited as a Manager of Corporate Audit from 2009 to 2011, where they focused on auditing Godrej Properties Ltd. Gaurav then moved to Godrej Properties Limited as a Deputy General Manager of Corporate Audit from 2011 to 2015, leading a team of three auditors and overseeing internal audits for the real estate developer. Currently, Gaurav is working at Godrej Consumer Products Limited, where they have held the positions of General Manager since 2015 and Associate Vice President of Corporate Audit since July 2020. Overall, Gaurav Agarwal has had extensive experience in audit and corporate finance, particularly in the real estate and consumer products sectors.

Gaurav Agarwal completed their education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Chartered Accountancy. During their time at the Institute, they studied subjects including Accounts, Taxation, Law, and Audit. Prior to attending the Institute, they attended Seth Anandram Jaipuria School from 1986 to 1996, where they obtained their high school degree with a focus on Economics. In addition to their formal education, Gaurav Agarwal also obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA in January 2015.
