Kevin Cope has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Kevin is currently the VP of Legal at GoFundMe, starting in July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP & Deputy General Counsel, Corporate, M&A, and Employment at Twitter from June 2019 to November 2022. Before that, they were the Vice President & General Counsel at AerNos, Inc. from August 2018 to June 2019. Kevin also worked at Seagate Technology, where they held various positions such as Deputy General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel from 2015 to 2018. Kevin was a Senior Legal Director at Yahoo from November 2014 to October 2015. Kevin'searlier experience includes working as an Associate General Counsel, Counsel & Regional Compliance Officer, and Attorney at Seagate Technology from 2008 to 2014. Before joining Seagate, Kevin worked as an Associate at Weintraub Law Group PC from October 2006 to April 2008.

Kevin Cope obtained a BBA degree in Management of Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 2000. Kevin then completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Villanova University from 2003 to 2005, followed by earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law between 2002 and 2005.
