Marco Zhu began their work experience in 1996 as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer and Manufacturing/Process Engineer at Alcatel Shanghai Bell. Marco then took on the role of Manager at the Product Design Center before transitioning to FOXCONN, where they worked as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Program Manager. After a year, they became Deputy Manager of Product Development. In 2009, Marco joined Palm Inc. as a Senior Manager of Supply Base Engineering and later moved to Hewlett-Packard, working in the Notebook Operations Engineering division. Marco served as the Senior Manager of Tooling & Supply Base Engineering before becoming the Senior Manager of Supply Based Engineering at Sonos, Inc. In 2016, they joined June before being acquired by Weber, Inc., where they worked in Manufacturing Design Engineering. Most recently, Marco Zhu started their role as the Technical Director for Asia at GCM in 2022.
Marco Zhu attended Shanghai University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Automation & Robots. During the same period, they also studied Intellecture Property Law at Shanghai University. In 2003, they enrolled at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and pursued Telecommunications Engineering, although the specific degree obtained is not mentioned.
