Joydeep C.

Joydeep C. has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Joydeep is currently the Head of Accounting at Gogoro, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited for over 12 years. Joydeep'sroles at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited included Finance Manager from June 2021 to July 2023, where they generated financial statements, managed cost allocations and general ledger, and handled fund management. Joydeep also served as Deputy Manager Finance from June 2009 to May 2021, overseeing various financial functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, payroll, and financial and management accounting. Additionally, Joydeep C. worked at Aamby Valley City, Sahara India Flagship Project as a Senior Executive Finance from September 2008 to June 2009, where they were responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports and budgets.

Joydeep C. completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree, with a focus on Honours in Accounting and Finance, at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata from 2003 to 2006. Joydeep then pursued Chartered Accountancy at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained a PG Certificate in Mergers Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Joydeep C. also completed a Cost and Management Accountancy program from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India from 2006 to 2009. In terms of certifications, they attained the Associate Member designation from IFAC and the Institute of Public Accountants in 2022. Joydeep also holds a Diploma in Education from ACCA and a DipIFR certification. Throughout their career, Joydeep C. has acquired various other certifications in finance, data analytics, project management, and SAP.
