Kerry McCarthy Welch

Kerry McCarthy Welch has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Kerry began their career as a Medical Records Specialist and Transcriptionist at Digestive Health Clinic in 2010, and then worked as a Medical Coder, Auditor, Transcriptionist, and Records Manager at WKMH from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Revenue Integrity Specialist and Coder at Walter Knox Memorial Hospital, where they audited medical charts, entered charges into patient accounts, and maintained medical records. Kerry also worked as an HIM Consultant at Val Verde Regional Medical Center in the same year. From 2015 to 2016, Kerry worked as a Remote Profee coder, provider coding, and audits at Altegra Health. In 2016, they joined GoHealth Urgent Care as a CT Lead Remote Medical Coder, and later that year, they also worked as a Professional Remote Coder at Brown County Hospital. Additionally, Kerry owned their own business, McCarthy Welch Medical Transcription, since 2009.
