Karina Pichardo

Karina Pichardo is currently a software engineer at Hopscotch. Prior to that, they worked as a web developer at Passaic County Technical Institute from September 2012 to June 2013. There, they were responsible for website updates using HTML and CSS, and reporting to the director of communications and development team to resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, and choose solutions. Karina also identified problems uncovered by testing/feedback, and corrected problems or referred problems to appropriate personnel. Furthermore, they evaluated code to ensure that it’s valid, properly structured, met industry standards and compatible with browsers, devices, and operating systems.

Karina Pichardo has a Bachelor of Science from Berkeley College and a certification from freeCodeCamp in Responsive Web Design. Karina is currently studying Computer Science at Passaic County Technical Institute.
