Axael Arteaga Fragachán has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Axael started their career at Telefónica as an Operation Sr Analyst from February 1998 to March 2000. Axael then moved to Anheuser-Busch InBev as a Sales Manager from March 2000 to January 2003, followed by a role as a Sales Regional Manager at Mondelēz International from January 2003 to August 2006. Axael then joined C.A. Ron Santa Teresa as a National Sales Manager from August 2006 to April 2009.
Afterward, Axael worked at AFA Distribuciones as the Commercial and Operations Director, leading commercial and logistic processes and handling outsourcing projects for copacking, distribution, and maquila. Axael worked with key companies in the personal care sector in Venezuela. This role spanned from April 2009 to February 2012.
In 2012, Axael started their own venture, Total Consulting Group, where they served as the Owner from March 2012 to August 2013. Axael then moved on to assume the role of Commercial Manager at Gold Data from September 2013 to March 2016, responsible for managing commercial operations. Axael then became the General Manager from April 2016 to December 2019, overseeing the overall operations of the company.
From January 2020 to March 2021, Axael took on the role of Regional Vice President CA & Caribbean at Gold Data, responsible for the growth of the organization in that region. Axael then served as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) from March 2021 to April 2023, where they played a vital role in driving the revenues of the company and strengthening alliances with manufacturers.
Currently, Axael holds the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Gold Data, where they are responsible for managing the operations, finance, and commercial area of the group companies. Axael is also a member of the Board of the holding companies.
Axael Arteaga Fragachán completed a Master's in Marketing from Escuela de Organización Industrial from 2006 to 2008. In 2020, they also completed a program in Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued an Especializacion en Mercadeo (Specialization in Marketing) from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Axael's educational background also includes a Licenciatura (Bachelor's degree) in Administration from Universidad 'Santa María', which they obtained from 1998 to 2003.
