Margaret Hurley has worked for a variety of companies since 2010. Margaret began their career as a Summer Intern for Michael Kors, where they helped organize and operate the PR closet, created design presentations, and analyzed sales. In 2014, they worked as a Sales & Marketing Intern for Shoppable, where they researched, identified, brought on, and managed clients, and created client presentations and maintained the client database for the sales team. In the same year, they also worked as a Food Editorial Intern & Freelancer for Phaidon, where they assisted in editing titles, image layout, and final image selection, liaised with authors, chefs, and international offices, and conducted social media outreach and prospecting. In 2016, they worked as a Private Bank Summer Analyst for J.P. Morgan. In 2017, they returned to Phaidon as a Food Editorial Intern & Freelancer. In 2018, they worked as a Writer's Assistant for The Insatiable Critic, where they edited reviews, newsletters, and articles, monitored social media and online sources for industry trends, and managed marketing, website, and all social media accounts. Margaret also worked as a Partnership Coordinator and Merchandise Operations, Manager (Marketplace Operations) for Goldbelly, where they grew and nurtured 400+ partner relationships, project managed the monthly subscriptions program, created and executed the categorization of all SKUs sitewide, and was responsible for the creation of every new SKU and digital storefront. In 2022, they will begin working as a Product & Services Portfolio Manager, Commercial Services for Mastercard.

Margaret Hurley attended Bryn Mawr College from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a BA in Art History. Margaret then attended the International Culinary Center from 2017 to 2018, where they earned a Certificate in Culinary Arts in the Professional Culinary Arts field.
