Rachel Masory

Rachel Masory has extensive work experience in the legal industry. Rachel is currently serving as the Managing Director and General Counsel at Golden Gate Capital since February 2023. Prior to this role, they held the positions of Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel (January 2021 - January 2023) and Deputy General Counsel (May 2014 - December 2020) at the same company.

Rachel also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law since January 2020.

Before joining Golden Gate Capital, they worked at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from September 2003 to May 2014. Initially, they started as an associate and later became a partner in the firm.

Rachel Masory obtained their Bachelor of Science in Economics and Journalism, Magna Cum Laude, from Northwestern University in 2000. Rachel then attended Harvard Law School from 2000 to 2003, where they earned their Juris Doctor degree. Rachel Masory is also a member of the State Bar of California (since 2016), the State Bar of Texas (since 2023), and the Illinois Bar (since 2003).
