Robert Barley

Robert Barley has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Vessel Operations Manager at the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District since February 2006, where responsibilities have included roles such as Vessel Master and Safety Security and Training Coordinator. Prior to this, Robert Barley worked at Angel Island Ferry Co. from May 2001 to 2007 as a Safety Officer, overseeing crew training and compliance with USCG and OSHA regulations. Additionally, Robert Barley operated Barley Boat Works from March 1998 to 2002, specializing in hull cleaning, underwater repair, and salvage as the owner-operator of a multi-purpose dive company.
