Jacobo Vargas

Jacobo Vargas has a wealth of experience in the business world, having worked for a variety of companies since 2003. Jacobo began their career at Cinépolis as a Coordinador Servicio Salas, before moving to Procter & Gamble México in 2006 as a Coordinador de Producción. In 2007, they took on a Supervisor de cadena de suministro role at Grupo Bimbo, as well as an Operations Manager role at Congeladora Morelia S.A. de C.V. From there, they moved to Caja Morelia Valladolid, where they held three roles: Sr. Quality and Planning Administrator, Institutional Project Manager, and Quality Manager. In 2019, they became Sr Manager, Projects and Continuous Improvement at Agroexport Internacional / Villita Fresh Food. In 2020, they took on the role of General Manager at Grupo AVOTRSC, before becoming an Advisor at Axen Capital in 2021. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Sr. Project Manager at Golden Section.

Jacobo Vargas has a diverse educational background. In 1996, they earned a Técnico Electricista degree from CETis 27, studying Generación y Distribución. Jacobo then went on to earn an Ingeniero Industrial degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia in 2003, studying Calidad y Productividad. Most recently, in 2022, they earned a Consultoria profesional internacional degree from IBERO Puebla, studying Economía del desarrollo y desarrollo internacional. In addition to their degrees, Jacobo has obtained several certifications, including FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) in 2020, Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf in 2020, and Scrum Master Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in 2018.
