Joseph Kwame Amankwah

Joseph Kwame Amankwah is an experienced mining engineer with extensive expertise in technical services and long-term planning. Currently serving as a Technical Services Manager at Golden Star Resources Ltd. since May 2022, Joseph has previously held significant roles at Randgold Resources Ltd. and Acacia Mining Plc, focusing on medium and long-term planning. Earlier positions at Barrick Gold Corporation and AngloGold Ashanti concentrated on mine planning, scheduling, and safety management. Joseph holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
