Omar Ali has extensive experience in the financial industry. Omar started their career in 1999 as a Relationship Manager in the Risk Management Division of Egyptian American Bank. In 2005, they worked as an Assistant Credit Manager at Corporate Leasing Company. Omar then became the Senior Manager and Head of Credit Analysis Department at Al Tawfeek Leasing Company from 2006 to 2010. Omar served as the Credit Risk Head at Al Ahly Mortgage Finance for a brief period in 2010 before establishing their own company, Turn Around Consultancy, where they worked as the General Manager until 2014. Omar then joined GB LEASE S.A.E. as the Risk Management Director from 2011 to 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked in the Credit Department at Balboa Capital. In 2018, they founded and became the Vice President of Lease Mart, Inc. Omar then joined Partners Capital Group in 2019 in their Credit Department. Currently, they serve as the VP and Relationship Manager at Golden State Bank.

Omar Ali attended Cairo American College (CAC) from 1990 to 1995 and obtained their High School degree. Following that, they pursued further education at City University of Seattle. From 1995 to 1998, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Financial Management from the same university from 1997 to 1998. In 1998, Omar Ali also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from City University of Seattle.
In terms of additional certifications, in 2019, Omar Ali obtained the Certified Lease and Finance Professional (CLFP) certification from the CLFP Foundation. Furthermore, they received the CLFP 2023 Recertification from the same institution in November 2022.
