Doug Anderson

Doug Anderson has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Doug started their career as the General Manager at Standard Radio Inc. in 2000 and held this position until 2005. Doug then joined Newcap Radio as the General Manager from 2003 to 2006 and also served as the Director of Newcap Interactive during this time. In 2006, Doug founded HippoMedia, a marketing communications firm specialized in integrating new technologies with traditional media. Doug later became the Vice President of Content at Golden West in 2011, where they were responsible for providing local information and entertainment through radio stations and online community hubs. Additionally, they served as an advisor for the Confederation College Advisory Board from 2005 to 2008.

Doug Anderson has an education history that includes attending Athabasca University, where they obtained an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Management. Additionally, they attended Brandon University where they studied Economics and Psychology. Doug also possesses certifications as a Certified Market Manager and a Certified Radio Advisor, both obtained from the Radio Advertising Bureau.
