Matthew R. Clayton

Mr. Clayton joined The Goldfield Corporation as Vice President, Head of M&A and Strategy, in April 2021. Matt has over 8 years of experience in M&A strategy, execution and financing. He joined The Goldfield Corporation from First Reserve, a leading global private equity fund, where he was involved in a number of investments across the United States and European infrastructure and industrial sectors. Prior to that, he worked in investment banking at Greenhill & Co. advising corporate and private equity clients on M&A and capital markets transactions.

Mr. Clayton holds a B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
