Mahesh Vellanki

Mahesh Vellanki is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Chief Data Officer for the Human Capital Management division at Goldman Sachs. With a career spanning over 25 years at Goldman Sachs since September 1998, Mahesh has held various significant roles, including leading the interest rates trading desk for 12 years and overseeing data platforms in Risk and Finance for 10 years. Prior to this, Mahesh worked as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories from August 1992 to August 1998. Mahesh holds two Master's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Engineering/Industrial Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology, earned between January 1989 and January 1992.
