Nupur Patel

Nupur Patel, JD, CRCM, currently serves as Vice President of Consumer Compliance at Goldman Sachs, specializing in Consumer Compliance Advisory for Marcus US and Private Bank Deposits since December 2023. Prior to this role, Nupur held various positions at Avant from May 2014 to December 2023, including Director of Legal for Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory readiness and oversight, fair lending, and public policy. Nupur also chaired Avant’s Fair & Responsible Banking Committee and worked closely with the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Nupur's educational credentials include a JD from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, complemented by a certificate in foundational compliance from the American Bankers Association National Compliance School, and a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University. Additionally, Nupur maintains active involvement with the American Fintech Council.
