Ramesh Kamath

Ramesh Kamath is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in banking operations and project management. Currently serving as the Head of the Hyderabad Office and Co-Head of Global Banking and Markets Operations at Goldman Sachs, Ramesh has held the title of Managing Director since June 2017. Prior to this, a significant tenure at J.P. Morgan from April 2003 to April 2017 included roles as Managing Director, Executive Director, and Vice President, where Ramesh played a key role in driving strategy for Global OTC Derivatives Operations and establishing the Derivatives Settlements Hub in Mumbai. Earlier career experience includes managerial positions at Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ Grindlays Bank. Ramesh holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai.
