Wim van Nes

Wim van Nes currently serves as Head of Credit Risk, Executive Director/VP at Goldman Sachs since January 2023. Previously, Wim held multiple positions at NN Investment Partners from 2017 to 2023, including Head of Credit Risk and Team Lead of Alternative Credit Risk Management, with responsibility for all Alternative Credit Risk activities and stakeholder engagement. Before that, Wim was a Senior Credit Risk Manager during the integration of NN and Delta Lloyd and contributed to change initiatives within the Credit and Counterparty Risk Team. Earlier experience includes various roles at Delta Lloyd Asset Management from 2008 to 2017, such as Financial Risk Management Advisor, where Wim helped rebuild the Financial Risk Team, managed distressed assets, and co-founded the Valuation Team focused on derivatives and collateral management. Wim's career began with a trainee program, undertaking assignments in cost control and asset management.
