Yahir Salas

Yahir Salas is an emerging professional in the technology and engineering fields, currently serving as a Possibilities Summit Invitee in the Engineering Track at Goldman Sachs and a Fellow in the Technology Vertical at HeadStart Fellowship. Previously, Yahir has held roles such as Ignite Scholar at AI4ALL, focusing on Computer Vision, and completed an internship in Software Engineering and Product Management with Microsoft in the M365 Core - New Technologists team. Yahir's experience also includes working as an Undergraduate Researcher at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, a Computer Hardware & Thermal Engineer at NASA's L'SPACE Mission Concept Academy, and as a Business & Tech Assistant Program Director and Scholar with First Gen Scholars. Yahir gained foundational knowledge and skills while participating as a Fellow with San Diego Squared and holds a High School Diploma from Serra High School, awarded in 2023.
