Jaime Valdez has extensive experience in public administration, currently serving as Assistant City Manager and formerly as Director of Neighborhood Services and Principal Project Manager at the City of Goleta since December 2019. Prior to this role, Jaime Valdez held various positions at the City of Goleta, including Senior Project Manager and Economic Development Coordinator, from February 2007 to October 2019. Briefly, Jaime Valdez worked at Raytheon as Manager III in Material Program Management in late 2019. Additionally, experiences include participation in the Katherine Harvey Fellows program at the Santa Barbara Foundation and serving as a Research Assistant at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
