Laura Sutphen

MD, Social Impact + Inclusion at Golin

Laura Sutphen is currently the MD of Social Purpose & Sustainability at Golin. Laura has extensive experience working with companies on their social purpose and sustainability initiatives. Prior to their current role, Laura was the EVP, Global Head of Social Purpose at Golin. In this role, they oversaw the global Social Purpose practice for Golin, which included social impact businesses, CSR divisions of companies, and sustainability. Laura is GRI certified to write sustainability reports. Laura has a strong focus on working with and counseling social business/triple bottom line companies. Laura is a subject matter expert in natural/organic food issues and food sourcing, microfinance, education reform, environmental and social activism, poverty alleviation and related issues (water and hunger), and the building of large-scale platforms and campaigns to move the needle on an environmental or social issue. Laura has counseled a range of clients including Constellation Brands, Astellas, Humana, Discover, NRG, American Greetings. Laura is also the Client director for Clif Bar & Company. Prior to their time at Golin, Laura was the Senior Vice President-Group Manager at Ketchum Public Relations and the Senior Vice President at Fenton Communications. Laura started their career in 1997 as an Account Supervisor at DDB Needham.

Laura Sutphen has a BS in Critical Theory from Syracuse University and attended BAY HIGH SCHOOL.

They work with Gary Rudnick - President & COO, Brian Beck - Chief Financial Officer, and Natasha O'dell Archer - SVP, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Laura Sutphen reports to Matt Neale, CEO.
