Samantha Asato

Samantha Asato has work experience in various human resources roles. Samantha currently works as a Human Resources Specialist at GoLinks since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Spire Hospitality in 2022, where they served as a Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter. In this role, they implemented structure and new processes in various areas of HR, such as LOA claims, benefits administration, employee lifecycle, recruiting, and culture. Samantha also handled employee inquiries, collaborated with third-party insurance companies for LOA requests, and ensured timely approval.

Before Spire Hospitality, Samantha worked at My Wireless from 2021 to 2022 as a Human Resources Coordinator. Samantha administered and tracked onboarding and offboarding processes for multiple entities across seven states, reducing the onboarding process turnover time. Samantha also facilitated new hire orientations and provided insight on company systems, policies, and benefits.

In 2019, Samantha worked at 85C Bakery Cafe as a Human Resources Clerk. Their responsibilities included coordinating food manager certification trainings, creating training courses for employees, and ensuring compliance with FDA requirements.

Prior to their HR roles, Samantha worked as a Cashier/Sales Associate at Zumiez from 2016 to 2019. Here, they developed in-depth product knowledge, coordinated company activities, and conducted training for new hires.

Samantha's earliest work experience was as a Project Intern at Snowglobe Perspective from 2015 to 2017. In this role, they contributed to the success of the internship program, formalized the studio's operations processes, and managed various administrative tasks.

Samantha Asato completed their Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Cypress College from 2015 to 2017. Samantha then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at California State University, Fullerton from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Samantha obtained the Online Marketing Foundations certification from Lynda.com in October 2018.
