Guillermo Ortiz

Guillermo Ortiz is a Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace sector, currently employed at GomSpace since November 2022. Previously, Guillermo held systems engineering roles at INVAP, contributing to the ARSAT SG1 high-throughput communication satellite project and the GSATCOM joint venture. Experience also includes project management for an Earth Observation Cubesat satellite project at AVS Added Value Solutions and systems engineering for a space-tug project at EPIC AEROSPACE. Guillermo's background features roles in product assurance for the SAOCOM 1A satellite and research at INTI, focusing on computational mechanics. Academic qualifications comprise a Master's in Space Systems from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
