Product Manager at Gong

Avshi Avital has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. In 2000, they started their career as a Software Engineer at Entercept, where they worked for three years. Avshi then joined McAfee as a Software Engineer for a year before moving to nLayers as a Software Engineer and Team Lead from 2004 to 2006.

Avshi then joined EMC in 2006, where they served as a Team Manager and Software Engineer. Avshi was responsible for managing the Discovery team and overseeing the application-discovery capability of Application Discovery Manager (ADM). Avshi also played a crucial role in the entire product lifecycle, from defining requirements to delivering the end product.

After that, Avshi joined VMware in 2010, initially as a Functional Architect and later transitioning to an R&D Manager role in the VMware Management BU. During their time at VMware, they led multiple teams and acquisitions, focusing on innovation, agile methodologies, and delivering high-quality products to customers. Avshi also played a significant role in the transition of the R&D team to fully agile and cross-functional teams.

In 2017, Avshi became the Co-Founder and CEO of Vayo, a company that was acquired by Gong in 2020. At Gong, they took on the role of a Product Manager, where they currently work.

Avshi Avital completed their education at two different institutions. From 1997 to 2000, they attended Bar-Ilan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Bs.c) degree in Computers and Mathematics. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, Avshi Avital enrolled at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in MBA.
