Ian MacKay

Ian MacKay has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2015, Ian worked as an Intern at Goethe-Institut e.V., where they coordinated logistics for events and managed participation for workshops. In 2016, they served as an English Teaching Assistant for The Fulbright Program, designing and executing lessons for students with immigrant backgrounds. Ian also gained experience in data entry and report generation as a Data Entry staff member at UNH Parking and Transit Center.

In 2013, Ian worked as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc./ Gap, where they managed inventory, fulfilled online orders, and maintained customer satisfaction. Ian then joined Bianco Professional Association in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant, handling financial reports, website updates, and client-related tasks.

Ian joined the University of Chicago in 2018 as a Translator, providing translation services from German to English. Ian later joined The Shelby Group in 2019 as a Process Improvement Analyst, where they curated learning materials, managed project management systems, and facilitated knowledge sharing.

From 2021 to 2022, Ian worked at Events by Sorrell as a Business Analyst, automating client intake processes and streamlining internal activities. Ian also provided updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Ian's most recent position is at Gong, where they started in 2022 as a Procurement Operations Analyst. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Senior Procurement Operations Analyst. No end date is provided for their current role.

Ian MacKay completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs and German from the University of New Hampshire, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Ian later pursued a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago, attending from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Ian MacKay has obtained several certifications. In December 2021, they completed the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate from Coursera. Ian also obtained two project management certifications from LinkedIn: "Project Management Foundations: Requirements" and "Project Management: Preventing Scope Creep" in August 2021.
