Mike Larkin

Mike Larkin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mike is currently working at Gong as a Sales Engineering Manager, a role they started in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Gong as a Lead Sales Engineer - Team Lead from August 2022 to May 2023, and as a Senior Sales Engineer from November 2020 to August 2022.

Before joining Gong, Mike worked at Mixpanel as a Senior Sales Engineer from October 2019 to November 2020. During their time at Mixpanel, they were responsible for discovery, proof of concepts, demoing, and piloting. Mike also built and customized synthetic datasets for sales demos, performed multiple Data ETLs, and developed a new SE discovery process. Mike led a monthly webinar initiative and collaborated on a career framework initiative for SE's.

Prior to Mixpanel, Mike worked at JW Player as a Senior Solutions Engineer from July 2019 to October 2019 and as a Sales Engineer from February 2017 to June 2019. Mike also worked at Trustpilot as a Senior Sales Engineer / Team Lead from April 2016 to February 2017, and as a Sales Engineer / Senior Technical Support Engineer from April 2015 to March 2016.

Earlier in their career, Mike worked as a Web Developer as a freelancer from November 2014 to April 2015. Mike also attended General Assembly as a Web Development Student from August 2014 to October 2014.

Mike began their career at 1010 WINS (CBS Radio) as a Writer and Production Assistant from May 2011 to July 2014.

Mike Larkin attended Xavier High School from 2004 to 2008. Mike then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a focus on Public Relations and Broadcasting, from the University of Scranton between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, Mike completed the Dale Carnegie Course at Dale Carnegie Training and later participated in a Full-stack Web Development Bootcamp at General Assembly.
