The brand was launched in October 2016, by Emma Grede and Khloé Kardashian, to empower all women to celebrate their bodies with confidence by offering high-quality designs in all sizes. What started as the largest denim launch in history, has evolved into an iconic and inclusive fashion line of denim, ready-to-wear, swim, shoes and activewear.

The Vice President of Production leads product operations and manufacturing at Good American. The ideal candidate should have a wealth of experience in apparel manufacturing and a deep understanding of the fashion industry. This role requires a visionary leader who can effectively manage operational processes, lead a team of production professionals, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute production strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Supervise the entirety of the production cycle from raw material procurement to final product delivery.
  • Cultivate and oversee relationships with suppliers, manufactures and vendors to promote the optimal business outcomes through robust partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams like design and merchandising to synchronize product strategy and production timelines.
  • Monitor production schedules and capacities to optimize efficiency and meet seasonal deadlines and deliveries.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production professionals, providing guidance and support to drive team performance
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and enhance product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior production management role within the apparel or fashion industry.
  • Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes, including patternmaking, cutting, sewing, and finishing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage production budgets, negotiate contracts, and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in production planning tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Understanding of sustainability practices and their implications for apparel production is desirable.
