Trevor Sweetnam has a diverse work experience in the field of energy and architecture. Trevor currently holds the position of Head of R&D at Good Energy since January 2023. Previously, they worked at Brí Buildings + Energy as a Freelance Analyst from September 2016. Prior to that, Trevor was Head of R&D at Igloo Energy from September 2017 to December 2022. Trevor also gained valuable experience as a PhD candidate at University College London from May 2012 to December 2022, where they focused on the coordinated control of domestic demand response. Trevor started their career as a Techno-Economic Analyst at PassivSystems, a Home Energy Management System provider, from May 2011 to August 2016. Before that, they worked as an Architectural Technician at HTA Architects from October 2010 to April 2011 and as a Freelance Architectural Technician at Declan O'Shea Consulting Engineer from May 2006 to September 2009.
Trevor Sweetnam holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Architectural Technology from Munster Technological University, which they obtained in the years 2005 to 2009. Trevor further pursued their education at UCL, completing a Master of Science degree in Environmental Design and Engineering from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Trevor Sweetnam has earned the title of Chartered Engineer from both Engineers Ireland and the Engineering Council in the year 2016.
