Michal Vajbar

Michal Vajbar has a strong background in program management and solution architecture. Michal started their career at DHL IT Services as a System Analyst, where they were responsible for implementing the Data Validation and Revenue Assurance project. Michal then moved on to become a Senior Technical Analyst & DVRA L3 Support Lead and later a Senior Business Analyst and Solution Architect & Project Manager.

In 2010, Michal joined Javlin as a Senior ETL Consultant & Analyst, where they worked until 2013.

Since 2013, Michal has been working at GoodData, starting as a Solution Architect & Project Lead and progressing to Senior Solution Architect & Project Lead and then Senior Program Manager & Solution Architect. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the lifecycles of multiple strategic customer solutions in the US and EU.

In 2019, Michal was promoted to Principal Program Manager at GoodData, where they were the primary contact point for customers regarding their solutions. Michal also managed multiple Scrum teams and led the successful creation and launch of GoodData's BI application for a marketplace in the partner's platform.

Most recently, Michal became the Principal Product Manager at GoodData in October 2022, where their responsibilities include overseeing the company's BI solutions and managing the entire solution lifecycle.

Michal Vajbar obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from Charles University from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Gymnázium Hodonín from 1996 to 2002. Michal has also obtained various certifications in Risk Management, ITIL, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster, Basic Management Skills, Oracle Database Administration, and Presentation and Discussion Skills.
