Matthew Amis

Matthew Amis has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years.

Matthew is currently a Senior Software Engineer at GoodLeap LLC, where they serve as the technology lead for the backend software team, focusing on financial data and transactions. Matthew is responsible for documenting, testing, and managing software releases, as well as building training plans for new hires.

Prior to this, Matthew worked at Western Health Advantage as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they supported NodeJS based microservices and automated systems. Matthew played a key role in migrating online member accounts to a new IAM service and enabling SSO integrations with partner services. Matthew also developed automation for synchronizing member data with the healthcare administration tool.

Before joining Western Health Advantage, Matthew worked at Rentlytics as a Senior Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included building back-end infrastructure and REST API endpoints using Python and Django web framework. Matthew successfully resolved critical report processing bugs affecting customer data.

Matthew has also worked at Intel Corporation for several years. As a Software Engineer, they developed and supported the software stack used to evaluate SSD drive features and performance. Matthew led two major internal software projects and was responsible for validation tools and automation frameworks.
