Adam Whitten

Adam Whitten is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in civil defense litigation. Since April 2010, Adam has served as an Equity Partner and the managing partner of the Charlotte office at Goodman McGuffey LLP, a prominent regional firm with multiple offices throughout the Southeast. Prior to this role, Adam worked as an attorney at Hedrick, Gardner, Kincheloe & Garofalo from September 2003 to April 2010. Adam also gained valuable experience as a research assistant for Professor Lissa Broome at the University of North Carolina School of Law from May 2001 to May 2003, and as a legal assistant at Smith Debnam from July 1999 to August 2000. Adam holds a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University. Additionally, Adam started a career in journalism as a sports editor for Daily Universe/NewsNet.
