Leah McCabe

Leah McCabe's work experience includes positions at various companies. Leah started working at Magic Garden Children's Center in 2014 as a Teacher, where they worked with children aged 1.5 to 4.5 in an educational setting, planned daily lessons, and fostered developmental learning and communication skills. From 2014 to 2017, they also worked at the University of Redlands as a Writing Center Tutor, teaching writing and editing skills to students and assisting them with papers, reports, theses, and grad school applications. Leah was nominated for Tutor of the Year in 2016-17. In 2016-2017, Leah worked with the Progressive Democrats of America as a member of the Young Progressives Demanding Action team. Leah then joined PlushCare in 2018, working as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist & Content Creator until 2021. At Plushcare, they were responsible for SEO and content creation. Currently, they are working at GoodRx as a Senior SEO Manager.

Leah McCabe has a Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Redlands. Leah also spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Melbourne, where they pursued General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Leah has obtained certifications in "Innovation Through Design: Think, Make, Break, Repeat" from Coursera in November 2018, and in the "CRLA: International Tutor Training Program Certification" from the College Reading & Learning Association in February 2017.
